Frequently Asked Questions

How does counseling work?

In your first session we will discuss the overall counseling process, your main concerns, and create a customized plan to achieve your desired goals. From there, we will continue to meet for follow-up sessions where we will be working toward your goals, which can always be modified along the way. When counseling comes to a close, we will review the insights, changes and accomplishments that have taken place and celebrate!

How many sessions will I need?

Everyone is unique and has different needs, desires, and motivation. There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach or answer to this question. However, we will discuss the frequency and timing of therapy to best fit your needs in the first session.

Generally speaking, we will start with regular visits to build momentum and consistently evaluate progress on your treatment goals and assess if we need to change that frequency. For some, it might be as short as 1-2 sessions, and for others it could be a more in-depth 20 or more sessions.

Do you accept insurance?

No. This ensures you with 100% confidential treatment and the freedom to choose your provider, the treatment length and the approach that is right for you.

If you would like to seek reimbursement for your sessions, a statement can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company. However, we cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company.

How much does therapy cost?
